The New Balance Foundation Marine Mammal Center will be closed for maintenance from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Tuesday, July 16 to Thursday, July 18. The sea lion presentation will be rescheduled to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on these days.

Marine Mammal Behind the Scenes Tour
Join our trainers for an exclusive behind the scenes experience to learn about the California Sea Lions and Atlantic Harbor Seals! See where the seal and sea lion food is prepared, learn how (and why) enrichment toys are made, and get up-close looks at the animals’ favorite spaces behind the scenes. Bring questions!

- Maximum number of participants: 4
- Minimum age: 7, guests aged 7-11 must be accompanied by a paid adult
- Tour is offered daily at 2:45 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.
- Program length is 30 minutes

Meet and Greet: Atlantic Harbor Seals
Join our trainers for an exclusive inside-the-exhibit visit with our Atlantic harbor seals! Participate in a training session where you will learn about their biology, their habitat, how we care for them, and the methods we use to communicate. You will have an opportunity to ask the harbor seals for behaviors and our trainers will answer any questions you might have.

Make Art with Atlantic Harbor Seals
Join our trainers for an exclusive inside-the-exhibit visit with our Atlantic harbor seals and receive a one-of-a-kind painting made by a seal during your visit! Choose up to four paint colors for a custom painting which will be yours to take home. In this session, you will also learn about the seals' biology, their habitat, how we care for and communicate with them.
