About

Patrice Hostetter is a research assistant with the Spatial Ecology, Mapping, and Assessment Program (EcoMap) at the Anderson Cabot Center. She is a member of the aerial survey team, conducting surveys of wind energy development areas, the Gulf of Maine, and Seamounts Marine National Monument. Prior to joining NEAQ, she did 3 winters in Florida doing aerial surveys during the North Atlantic Right Whale calving season, in between summers of working at a dive shop in Greece. She has diverse experience working on various projects all over the world, including seal rescue and rehabilitation in Ireland, sea turtle hatchling studies in Australia, and working as naturalist in Alaska.
