About

Kate Laemmle is a research technician with the Spatial Ecology, Mapping, and Assessment Program (EcoMap) at the Anderson Cabot Research Center. Prior to joining the EcoMap Team, Kate gained experience working with Gulf of Maine cetaceans during her seasons as a naturalist for the New England Aquarium Whale Watch in Boston. Kate has also worked in southeast Alaska, conducting surveys on humpback whales and collecting behavioral data on cooperative bubble-net feeding groups.
