New England Aquarium announces new Assistant Vice President of Conservation Policy

BOSTON, MASS. (August 1, 2024) – The New England Aquarium is pleased to announce Anthony Gesualdi as its new Associate Vice President of Conservation Policy.

In this role, he will oversee ongoing efforts to advance the Aquarium’s federal, state, and local legislative, administrative, political, and grassroots/grasstops advocacy strategy. Gesualdi will develop and advance priority policies, build and maintain government relationships, identify and pursue government funding, ensure compliance with lobbying requirements, and advise on C-suite policy/political engagement.

Spruill. “He brings a wealth of experience to the position and we are confident that his expertise will help advance the Aquarium’s continued impact on ocean conservation and climate resilience policies.”

Gesualdi previously served as the Government Relations Director for Delta Dental of Massachusetts and Chief of Staff to State Senator Joseph Bancore. He also served as Legisative and Budget Counsel to Massachusetts Senate Majority Whip Anthony Petruccelli.

He is a licensed attorney with a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a bachelor’s degree in history from Suffolk University.
