About
Kara Mahoney Robinson is a research technician at the Anderson Cabot Center for Ocean Life. She is working on maintaining the Right Whale Photo-Identification Catalog, evaluating anthropogenic (human-caused) impacts on right whales, and is passionate about sharing the right whale story with the greater Aquarium community.
She was formerly part of the Aquarium’s Education Department as part of the Student Programs team for almost 18 years. During that time, she also worked with the right whale team on a seasonal basis doing aerial surveys on the Right Whale calving grounds and assisting with surveys in the Bay of Fundy and Roseway Basin.
