Massachusetts Teachers Discounts

We offer a variety of benefits for teachers. All Massachusetts K-12 school teachers, with proof of current classroom employment, may be admitted free of charge. Acceptable proof includes a current Massachusetts Teacher Association (MTA) card, Boston Teachers Union (BTU) card or a letter from the school principal (on letterhead). A valid photo ID will be required with these Teacher ID cards. Teacher ID cards need to be dated the current year. If not, teachers need to bring a current paystub.

If you are bringing a class to visit the New England Aquarium and want to plan your visit, please show your field trip confirmation letter to receive free admission to the Aquarium. In each case, the teacher should also present a valid photo ID such as a Massachusetts driver’s license.

Active Duty Military Personnel

Active duty military personnel and their dependants receive 50 percent off Aquarium and IMAX. This discount does not apply to non-dependant guests coming with military personnel. Both active duty military personnel and their dependents need to show their military ID or military dependent card (orange) to receive the discount for themselves and their children. If the military personnel are not present, the spouse may show his or her military dependent card (orange) and a photo ID and get the discount for themselves and their children.

College Discounts

If you have a valid college ID, you are eligible for discounted tickets, and all groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted admission to the Aquarium.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Members enjoy an outstanding package of benefits that includes one-time use admission tickets to the Aquarium and the Simons IMAX Theatre, Executive Family Memberships, exclusive event invitations, venue discounts and much more.
