Make a Donation to the Aquarium

Individuals can make a difference to the world's oceans.  Your gift of financial support helps us develop exceptional exhibits, and education, conservation and research programs. There are many options for giving. You can sponsor an animal — an African penguin, a fur seal or an endangered right whale. You can make a donation to support the Aquarium's immediate operating needs, make a special gift to help support a special program or capital need, or plan a legacy gift.

We hire for a broad range of positions, ranging from jobs that involve extensive interaction with the public to jobs in research and conservation, animal husbandry, operations, finance, human resources, marketing and communications, development and education.

Intern at the Aquarium

Internships are a great way for college students and recent college graduates to gain valuable experience learning all aspects of our work, including veterinary services, animal husbandry, program and exhibit design, and operational aspects of running a large cultural institution. Join the New England Dive Club

The New England Dive Club is one of the oldest, largest and most active dive clubs in the world, attracting seasoned divers, new divers and even non-divers with a love of the sea. Meetings are held monthly and speakers include a great mix of marine scientists and diving enthusiasts.

Go on a Bahamas Expedition with the Aquarium

Take a break and join Aquarium divers on a collecting expedition to the Bahamas. You will help responsibly collect colorful reef fishes and invertebrates for the Giant Ocean Tank and other tropical exhibits.
